yep, i have a notebook for college ... goregous thing it is ...

i mean look at that amazing clarity

oh wait thats not it ... its a Compaq Presario x1000.
intell pentium M-1 1.4 Ghz cpu, 512mb of ddr sdram, 60 gig HD, a teac DW-224E DVD/rw drive (i don' tknow the speeds on it), 15.4" screen and 32MB ATI Mobility Radeon 9200.

now why am i crying ... its either because i'm happy about getting an amazing computer for school ... or because i'm now 7500$ in debt to my parents ... i think its the debt ... the college tuition, parking pass fee, and now the computer add up to about 7500$ ...a nd apparantly i'm only 1/4 of the way through my debt ... god this is going to be fun ... plus i'm a first time driver ... so fucking insurance is going to be about 5000 alone ... fuck ... well at least for the first year it is. meh any ways ... i now ahve a bitching school computer ... and the dvd drive means i have a method of ripping dvds ... that means i can strat tryin to make AMV's ... woot ... i guess. well thats it for me now.

procesor speed could be a little higher, but toher than that its a great system and im sure you'll enjoy *taking notes* in class. yeah debt suks.... im gonna owe alot to my parents in a year when i get out of this hell hole..... but yeah, nice

I did the same thing when my parents bought me my laptop althogh Im not in college (or any where near for that matter or in as much dept) My laptop is a Area 51 AleinWare. You wouldnt believe the hrs I lost my life to that that machine. Anyway congats and have fun with it.

talk about a waste of money.............that thing isnt even a laptop..... it weighs like 12 pounds! and its way to much for a gaming laptop.... aroun 3.5k?

I feel your pain for peing in debt. I owe my parents $500+ for destruction of property. I have a light anger management problem and when I get mad (doesn't happen often) I break stuff. Last time I was mad I punched a hole through my wall and broke my hand.

Anyway, back on topic. I need a laptop. My computer SUX ASS!!! And my parents just got my bro a going to collage laptop present...oh well, 2 more years and I can get one.

i just put a hole in my wall today ... they didnt say shit to me .. it was either it or my mothers face ....and back on topic .. nise .. i just wish i coulda got a new pc for college .. this thing is on its last leg =\
