longest AMV

What's the longest song you've made an AMV to, and what's the longest you've seen one made to?
I saw a Cowboy Bebop one to "Only in Dreams" by Weezer (8:03). My longest finished one is a DBZ to "12" by Insane Clown Posse (6:35), but it's soon to be outdone by my video to "Narayan" by Prodigy (9:06).
Eh, I'm just curious.

Longest video I've made was DBZ to Two Mix's Just Communication Groove your soul remix. The song was 5:55 but I added some stuff in to put it over 6 min.

If you are going to download a long amv make it this one. It's got mine beat by 25seconds. Jbone gets extra props for only using just one source that's just under 2 hours of footage.

Heh, it's got my 9:06 video beat by a longshot on fewest sources, by a longshot. But oh well.

Longest one I've made yet is 3 minutes (the song was originally 3:38). Even the one I'm currently working on is probably going to be shorter than that. I'm just not into really long vids; I've seen a number that wore out their welcome at cons when they were just dragging on. Some can pull it off well, and sometimes it's warranted (when it would take at least that duration to really do a series justice). Other times though, it just seems like there is a lot of unnecessary filler material.

I love long AMV's, since I love long music pieces, and I wish they were more of them.

Both M:I vids were quite long I believe...

My only AMV is 6:42, and when I learn how to make better AMV's - expect longer (or if I learn...)

I remember suffering through a 10+ minute DBZ music video that sucked.
I forget who the song was by though...I think it was instrumental.

took me a long time to plan it all out, but the AMV came out better then i expected, and i am also going to make a directors cut of the last act, cuz that song was like 4 mins long its self, and i just couldent make a 9 min long AMV, so i cut it.

Longest overall: Dance Dance Revolution 3rd Mix Nonstop Megamix AMV Project - Over 70 minutes long.

My longest AMV - Excel in the Brain, I think. I haven't ever kept track.

However...

My shortest AMV: Short AMVs for Short People Track 1: Short Attention Span - 7 seconds long.

2nd shortest: The Yuki and Kyo Show - somewhere around 40 seconds.
