Regular runs from $ 1.38 to 1.53 according to the signs around here. I happen to have to drive a lot so I know the closer you get to a large city the cheaper it gets.

The $ 1.53 is here in Athens, the $ 1.38 is the price in Newark Ohio right now.

If anyone from the Pennsylvania to Maryland (along I-70 would be best) area wants to post the prices...those of us driving to Otakon 8+ hours would appreciate the heads up info ^_^

Just for reference, it's a little over one euro a litre here. That would be about $4.40 a gallon, if I'm correct. :x Thank God I'm a cyclist like EC. :D

Since I only leave home to go to work or class, I don't know what the gas is in Austin. Haven't looked at the prices in almost 2 weeks now. After all, work is 5 min from home and I walk to class. No real need for gas.

It's about .79 cents a Litre here. I don't know how much that is.

Pump price kicks ass!
But I tend to pay the extra 40¢ and get 100 octane from the local airport. Every once in a (rare) while you'll see me at the gas station.

what exactly is the point of higher octane gas?

I tried the premium gas... and there was no percieavable increase in gas mialage or speed and power in my truck
