How do you like your **** fast or slow?

i work better with songs that are slow and fast...more slow....im not too good with fast songs.

I go both ways. The speed of the edits really depends on the intensity and speed of the music - and it really sucks if you keep finding songs that go back and forth like I do.

i like listening to slow songs but eding them is really hard because scene transitions are harder to make smooth with the music (hard fast song just gets hard fast transitions)

Making a good slow video is infinitely harder than a good fast video. If you have a series of quick cuts with tons of colors, people are less likely to notice flaws.

If you have a slow upward pan of someones face on the screen for 7 seconds, they notice everything.

Right now I'm editing two videos: one to a fast one and one to a medium paced one. The faster paced one is harder for me for some reason.

I prefer using ones in the medium range, or with varying speed. It's hard to represent a complex plot when the beat dictates that a clip should only be about a second long, so vids done to fast songs usually can't be very in-depth. On the other hand, if the song is especially slow, it becomes very hard to find clips long enough to fill the amount of time needed between transitions (the slower the song, the longer each line of lyrics is going to be). So I generally like a balance, although I'm definitely not opposed to using either end of the spectrum.

I dont like going too fast... I think it degrades a video if the whole thing moves too fast for the viewer to understand whats going on and it just becomes a blurr, I like scenes to be a little longer
