I prefer using ones in the medium range, or with varying speed. It's hard to represent a complex plot when the beat dictates that a clip should only be about a second long, so vids done to fast songs usually can't be very in-depth. On the other hand, if the song is especially slow, it becomes very hard to find clips long enough to fill the amount of time needed between transitions (the slower the song, the longer each line of lyrics is going to be). So I generally like a balance, although I'm definitely not opposed to using either end of the spectrum.
