Schools of AMVs

Post by Sporkmaster » Thu Jul 31, 2003 6:30 pm

You know, there have been the issues of having preferences getting in the way of giving objective opinions. What if we set up different groups or schools that as a group only grade one type of AMV. It would be like Iron chief but without the completion.

Does this sound good or completely off the wall?

I wouldn't mind really. I've been addressed as sensei in my dojo, here I'd feel no different...

[bah, who cares! :) ]

I can only point out timing issues. Teach over sensitive timing issues, etc. In terms of artistic concepts and "emotionally gripping" amvs, you'll have to join another class...

If I taught at this school, it'd be something like...

"Beginning Effects and Timing 101" blah...

"Strength lies in action. Let the weak react to me..." - Kamahl, Pit Fighter from Magic: the Gathering
"That is a mistake many of my enemies make. They think before they act. I act before I think!" - Vortigern from Merlin ('98)
"I AM REBORN!" - Dark Schneider Bastard!! OAV
