I wasn't nessecarily looking for help, I just needed someplace to vent before i explode and kill someone. Im going to try and forget but it is kind of hard when you live 8 months for somone and then all of a sudden they do not want anything to do with you anymore.

Well, we gain people and we lose them no matter how much it hurts. It's best to just try to move on. By the way, if she didn't have the nerve to tell you then that means she regrets leaving you and couldn't say it herself in the fear that she might make another mistake. Oh well, I'm sure you'll find someone else Maximo. Just smile

More avatars will appear eventually. I change my quotes every thursday, but the avatars stay on for a good month or so, rotating into other forums when I'm done with them here. Thankfully, my supply of Ade pics is quite good and there's bound to be more av's eventually...

It's hard to see it this way right now but, it's better that it was only 8 months and not 3 years...and you didn't have a child or get married just to find out you were with someone who would cheat on you and then have the guy tell you without being strong enough to do it herself.

It's little help right now....but it'll look a lot better 1 or 2 months from now.

In the meantime, go out and do stuff with your friends. It's the best medicine there is to heartbreak..well aside from time.

take a look on the bright side. You ahd a girlfriend ... the closest thing i've had to a girlfriend was Daina back in grade 1 ... we used to play tag a lot ... then she moved ... but before she left she pushed my face into the sandbox and kicked out one of my front teeth. I'm a social disaster, i can only barely talk around people i trust a lot, and there aren't many of them around. You have it a lot better then you may think, her boy friend could have paid you a personal visit with a pair of brass knuckles to tell you to stop calling her. Count you blessing no matter how well they are hidden.

Be glad it was only 8 months, and make yourself no 1 now. And above all what I am learning to do now ENJOY THE SILENCE.... for awhile....it can actually be quite nice.
