G Gundam is about as campy as a super robot series, once you got past the broken Engrish and the overly enthusiastic announcer that introduces just about every single episode with 'Gundam Fight... ready... GO!' and the ridiculously stereotyped Gundam designs, (Gundam series are usually too serious anyways, it's nice to see some more humour now and then) there's a solid story behind it. Fortunately, the dub actually seems to fix two of the problems, so it's no longer quite as campy as the original Japanese version. Bandai apparently knows who makes a good voice actor, Gundam Wing while it wasn't dubbed really well, it at least was passable.
Anybody watched G Gundam on Cartoon Network?

Well, the Maxter Gundam does indeed have a Cowboy mode, if you watch today's episode, you'll probably see it.

I think you might have misunderstood me...
I LIKE the campy nature of G Gundam...
I prefer the serious nature of the original Gundam Universe... (my favorite Gundam title is 'War in the Pocket")
but I am glad that the "Alternate Universe" titles have been seperated to give different flavors.
I am anxious to see more of Turn-A Gundam, since I only saw a little of it... my friend was describing to me some of the scenes from that series and I hope it comes to US soon.

There are two kinds of people in this world:
Those who divide people into two kinds of groups
and those who don't.
