How did you discover the org?

I think i may have asked this question somewhere ... but i'll ask it agian.

For me It was AD's imortalized Deep Purple - FLCL AMV that brought me here. I found it on kazaa and it had the orgs url in the description tag, and that brought me here which opened a new door to ethics and new anime's i've never heard of, or never would ahve heard of. I've said it too many times, but thanks AD.

I discovered the org at Animazement 02'
It was the week May 28 and during the AMV contest at Animazement, one of the videos sorta advertized it at the end of the vid, so I decided to check the site out.
And the rest as they say, is history.

My roommate and I found it shortly after getting it to AMVs. We were all about snatching each and every Jesmaster video, but since his site was so frequently on and off, and DC++ had so few, it was quite the difficult task. The one day he posted that his site had changed, now he was to be found at "www.animemusicvideos.org." Thought us "Oh! His new website?" Cane in and was instantaneously blown away by the shier number of videos, let-alone baddass ones. My Jesmaster affliction soon became a Kevin Caldwell obsession, a month later I joined after making my first (non dbz) AMV and the rest is history 8)

My brother was a lurking member here for ages, downloading vids here and there...

I think the main reason I got more or less interested in AMV's is visiting the AMV compotition at CNAE couple of years ago (apparently, that was the first time they put one on).

Then, a few months back, I started hating AMV's because all I was getting is a lot of Linkin Park and other groups I don't like...

So, I came here to vent my frustration, and while doing so, I discovered that things are not as bad as they seem. They are worse than that. They are also better than that. So, I decided to stick around for the part of things that's better.
