Sentient, homicidal AI. And sparks. Lots of sparks, I bet.

Well long story short, some smart ass kid pulled up porn on a company machine, mommy caught it, the filters didn't...

Wham! Bam! Thank you officer!

Business liscense was pulled, no income ment no home, no home ment Pawn shope time for PCs. And The Computer Mod shoppe reverted to basics. A guy living in his parents living room (bedroom to cluttered w/ leftover pc parts) working house call to house call just under the legal limit ( best the IRS knows  ) requiring a liscenes. On top of that car of doom was dying, no reverse, 3 or 4 gear. 5th existeted however  I think. And the engine dropped more oil per day than the Eexon Valdies(sp?). So new car had to be bought sucking up the remainder of my funds after moving and closure expences.
 Good times

Did you run the business, or were you a gear in the machine?

All this talk of modding makes me wonder if I could fit a PC in a model one Sega Genesis...AND preserve the ability to play Genesis games  .

Both simultaneuosly and all at the same time. Mostly i just BSed people into letting me cut holes in their cases. Being i was the only "modification specialist" with in 50 miles. I also did most of the upgrades being the only one with A+. It was a pretty small shop in a REALLY small town. Only draw were the 2 computers we had hooked to a corperate cable line. Kind of a good and bad idea there. We did a fair share of business, mostly the local college nerds loking for the biggest and best, And boy-howdy we had that in excess! I will say there were maybe 3 computers total that let the shop w/ CPU warenty still intact.

So if some punk pulled up porn, how is it your fault?

I bet there's lots of computer porn in the White House. All of it left over from the Truman administration, naturally.
