This is not your average Transformers Video: Starscream

Post by Vega Sailor » Thu Jul 24, 2003 6:54 pm

My video tells a story of two characters from the original Transformers TV series, Starscream and Skyfire. Skyfire is holding Starscream back from becoming a great Decepticon warrior, and Starscream does not like that one bit. Friendship or no friendship Starscream will not let Skyfire stand in his way.

This is Starscream's story....

Please don't be predjudice against my video just because I used a Lin Kin Park song, I actually put a alot of hours and effort into this video, and followed the lyrics as best as I could. With the lipsync there are two spots that I could not edit out lip movements that were not meant to be lipsync parts. One with Skyfire putting on the Autobot symbol and one part when Megatron is talking to Starscream and Skyfire. But there are many other parts where the lipsync is intentional to help the story in the video move along. Overall I am really proud of this video and I hope you like it too. It took me a month to put together.

Please let me know what you think. :D It doesn't have to be a formal review, just a short post in this topic would be fine with me. :)

Liked it somewhat, don't quit you'll get awesome quick.
One suggestion is to not use effects that don't meet high standards in your eyes. If they do then I guess use them if you want, but mostly screwed up effects screw up the vid. When just not having them could be just as good.

Which effects in particular? I want to know for future reference. With the exception of the two scenes I mentioned above, which I had to put in because they were important scenes, I liked the effects I have. However if they are too distracting or inapproptiate for the video in the eyes of the viewer, I want to know so that I don't repeat the mistake. :D

Thank you so much for your input! 8)

Some zooming was sloppy but some of it was nice...just if you do effects try to make it look least cheesy as possible.
