The only negative in this world is the UN. If they let George Bush Sr. kill Saddam in the first Gulf War, we wouldn't be there now, trying to clean up their crappy nation for them.

The UN has even made it illegal for America to claim the moon as our territory. What the hell? We put a man there first, so we should claim it as our land. The UN has been pushing us around, basically trying to keep us on an equal playing field with these other inferior nations, who can't even support themselves without medical and food aid sent by us out of the goodness of our hearts.

By that logic, humanity should have "warred" itself extinct now. I mean, we've had some major ass conflicts and conquering in the past 5000 years, often going on simultaneously.

What about WWII? There were numerous reasons to fight it (not just "AMERICA MUST SAVE THE WORLD!"), but can anyone argue with the end result?

Asia doesn't become enslaved by Japan, Europe doesn't fall under the jackboots of Nazi Germany, occupying Europe gives the western Allies a chance to stall another bloody regime (Stalin's Soviet Union), war manufacturing helped get the US out of the Great Depression, Britain's colonialism begins to end, and Japan and Germany become freer politically.

We even dropped two atomic bombs on Japan, and they don't super hate us still.

Get over this total pacifism shit, people. Humans war. It's not always a good thing (like our current one), BUT it's not always a bad thing (WWII, Somalia).

Strongly agreed. If we keep fighting, we'll just kill more and piss more people off. Now that after what happened to Saddam's sons, things will only get worse. Somehow, there will be retaliation and we'll lose more people. Honestly, I don't believe that there are any "good" wars because more and more people will die and people will only become more pissed and upset and vengeful. It's a very stupid logic that people live by. My interpretation of it is this "One person dies and people must go take thousands of lives for the revenge of one." This stupidity has to stop soon but no country is brave enough to because they don't want to be called a pacifist and get bombed as a traitor. That fear is what makes this war so stupid.
