I got the point, damnit. I was just both complaining about what I've been reading, and then explaining about why the movie bombed.

Eh, you're probably right about the uberpraise over Anime, but there is no denying the quality and skill (given their limited buget) compared to American film making, er um, animation. What the hell were they spending all that money on?

More animators than they needed, more writers than they needed, better actors/actresses than they needed, and too many computer effects that for the most part aren't noticed. Oh, and all of them were overpaid.
