don't try to rationaly argue with fundamentalists of any kind. It won't happen, well there was that one time my friend carried out a sensible argument with some Moumens about why religions exist ... they came to the colclusion that religion is nothing but a manipulative creation of man and that faith is something totaly differnt and totaly neccessary ... i don't know how but he did and was pleased with it.

Ture, though i think buddhism is one of the better mainstream religions if you must follow one... but thats probably because i have a fairly limited knowledge of it.

From what I know of Buddhism, it's just as much an opiate of the masses as any other religion. Your current situation is the fault of a previous life, for instance, and if you do well in this one, your next one will be even better.

I was talking to God just last night guys. I had brought him over some of my Au Gratin Potatos. Which are quite good. I told him they were homemade but he can never tell that I use the instant stuff

Anyways, after scarfing them down, I am sitting on the floor in his living room and he's lying down on the couch moaning about his full stomach. He looks like he's about to dose off. Suddenly I am like "OMG I should ask him the meaning of life and what it's all about". So I ask "God, what is the meaning of life?". He's grumbles something. Then replies "I don't know if you can take it.". I get kinda upset by this and say "of course I can!". He rolls over on the couch and looks at me and says "no need to get bitchy". "Come here and I'll tell you" he states using making a come hither motion with his pointer finger. I move over close to his face, he pauses for a moment. Then burps right in my face.

I immediately stand up and go "You know what, that's gross, how dare you do that to me!". He says "okay okay, sorry. I'll really tell you, do you really want to know?". I am like "Yesss

". He extends his hands and slaps me on the ass and goes "The meaning of life is to get me another bear bitch".

That man sometimes I don't know why I love him.
