How does my website run?

My Site

I need people, and by people I mean anyone who reads this post, to help me with my site. I need to test my host out and see how it handles. So, here's what I need everyone to do.

Hit the site, browse around as much as you want, download videos, whatever. When you are done, drop me a PM (I'll be gone all next week, and this thread will probably be gone by the time I get back, so a PM or an e-mail is the preferred way to let me know) and let me know how fast it runs, if there were any problems connecting when downloading files, and just generally let me know how the site runs.

Good simple design.

You should work on compressing the image sizes, though.

Example:

Head.jpg is currently at 16 million colors, and has a size of close to 57KB. Switch it to a 256 color .gif and compress it. You can easily get that image down to below 15KB.

Your site will load faster.

yeah, .gifs only use the HEX colors of HTML, which makes them smaller. And the website looks good.

Simple designs are nice in my book. Which doesn't mean I'd pass up the ability to write more comlex page scripts.

Most of the images ARE gifs. I made the video pictures JPGs because of the detail in them, and the head banner is a JPG because of the fade in the planet logo. I could experiment with dithering, I suppose, but that's why I made it a JPG in the first place.
