Songs in commercials

Is there some way I can find out what song was used in a certain commercial? I was hoping there would be a website with a big list. Commercials need to include this information since they use some of the best music.

so true. it took me forever to find out what song was used in that Mitsubishsi(SP) commercial.

there used to be a web page at Geocities & NBCi . . Commercials and related songs
back when ShareHouse.NBCi.com was running; but they have left College and
closed the doors - for now!

my guess would be:
1) figure-out what the product is.
2) go to that web page and look for the spokes-man/person.
