I once saw a sasquatch on one of my backpacking adventures.
We watched it through binoculars for about 10 minutes before it moved into thick timber and we lost site of it.
Fun times.

Yes, I have had many experiences. The house I grew up in had a ghost that I saw many times. It was a young man prob about 25-30yrs old dressed in very old style clothing who just walked from the (what I used to call the spooky corner of the house, this area keep sinking no matter how much fill we put under the house)across the living room and through the wall. I often tried to talk to/communicate with it but to no avial.

Again when I lived in New Jersey (I lived in a large old house that was about 160 years old) I saw several ghost in this house walking around my bedroom and the hall where the stairs used to be before the house was remodeled. I tried to contact them several time to various degree of success. I also mananged to keep my bitch ex-roomate from sleeping in my bedroom when I moved out. She could not sleep and was constantly haunted by them, although they never bothered me, I think they liked me.

Also when my friend died I was walking my dog at night in the woods right after a good rain when out of nowhere a VERY LARGE black dog silently walked up to me, I reached out my hand to touch the dog it just muzzled my hand and turned and walked away and seemed to dissapear into the darkness. It (the dog) just did not feel right, it felt hollow or unsubstantial, also gave me the creepiest but most peaceful feeling at the same time. I was not worried at all and this was a very large dog, Ive had a 140lb English Mastiff in the past and this dog was just as big but even taller than she was. My dog is a trained hunting dog and is usally other dog aggressive but did not even acknowledge this large dogs existence she just stared at me like why the hell did I just stop and stand there. There was also no smell (you know wet dog etc...) and when I got back to my house the phone was ringing and I found out that my very good friend had just died.

Ive had many, many other experiences as well, too long to post at one time though. I do fancy myself a sort of spiritualist.
"Light in the absence of eyes illuminates nothing. Visible forms are not inherent in the world but are granted by the act of seeing. Events contain no meaning in themselves only the meaning that the mind imposes on them...yet the world endures,...whether or not the mind exists..."

I have never seen a ghost. I have however heard what I believe to be one.

When I was younger, an aunt and uncle of mine had a bit of land out in the country (basically in the boonies). Back then I liked going outside and exploring whenever I could, and their house was perfect for that, so I jumped at every oppurtunity to go there and visit. One time my entire family was there for a visit. So me, my two cousins, and my two siblings all went out to have a walk around their property. Eventually we worked our way to the dried up pond that was a major landmark (it was actually full sometimes but now it was dry as a bone). So we walked down into the bottom of it, talking. Suddenly we heard, very faintly, someone saying "Help me. Help me." This in itself would not have been very scary except that the day before that we had heard the EXACT same voice saying "Help me" and thought nothing of it. To hear it again the next day was pretty scary, and being the youngins that we were, we ran back to the house. Their parents told us it was nothing and later, when our oldest cousin was gone, her mom said it was probably her playing a trick on us.

Well we believed that story. Until one day a few years later. I was up visiting by myself. The cousin who had supposedly masterminded this trick was visiting my house, roughly 100 miles away from where we were. Not thinking at all about the voice we had heard before, me and my other cousin, who is about a year younger than me, went walking about the property. We make it to the pond and we suddenly hear "Help me. Help me." The same exact voice as before. Well this time we were pretty damn sure it wasn't his sister unless her voice can somehow carry 100 miles. So we ran back to the house again, and of course his parents didn't believe us, them being the religious people they are. Anyway that's the end of the story, not a very exciting conclusion but nonetheless there it is.
