military use of AMV's

sounds like a grand idea to me
just go to the member list where it shows everyone's name and assume that they say 'yeah! go ahead man!'
after all, why would they upload their amv if they didn't want exposure and ppl other than themselves to enjoy their vids right?
(i really don't think i speak for everone, but the sentiment is pretty much the same all over a-m-v.org)

I hope you have good luck, but be careful, I don't know what the Navy's policy is, but here in the Air Force, distribution of any non-military software is punishable under the UCMJ. They are very strict on what we can have on our computers, though they were lax on the ones we used in Saudi Arabia

God I hate ACC, they are so strict

Then again, we are Shaw AFB and we the Showcase of the Air Force

I usually have my laptop at work and that is how I show AMVs to others

We're ACC too. Its a base by base, and squadron by squadron thing, and most importantly, a shop by shop thing. Tinker sucks too, thank god I'm gettin transferred to Elmendorf, Alaska this November. Its right outside my hometown of Anchorage.

hey do you guys have to deal with MNCI? If you do I feel for ya. but at least in the navy and being at a small command AT SEA we don't have to follow all the rules. Small things that help crew morale get the thumbs up. Even some that might be a little on the shaddy side of legal. not that we can offically allow (sorry late night out in Singapore) "crime". which is one of the reasons i asked. cma (cover my a--) thing.

Danny know where your comming from on the tinker thing hated it there to when my dad was station there. Did love alaska though for the two years I was there.

Wow... I'm originally from alaska, and I'm getting moved back there (Elmendorf) in November, when abouts were you there? I grew up In a little town called Eagle River north of Anchorage, and I think its the most beautiful place I've ever been.
