I had a dream last Saturday that stayed in my mind until now.

I was kickin' Tom Cruise's Ass for making that "The Last Samurai" movie!!!!

Stupid people made him play the lead role on the movie!!!

Now that the topic has come up. Does anyone else ever die in thier dreams like this? This is something that has disturbed me for quite sometime, and nobody I talk to says that they die in thier dreams.

No, I don't die in my dreams. However, I do get beat up, shot, strangled, and run over a lot. As I said before, all five senses are simulated in my dreams, so taking a bullet through the guts in my dream hurts like hell!

Also, since my brain is conscious while I'm dreaming, or simulating conscious behavior (I can't tell, because my brain functions identically in dreams as it does while conscious), while I'm in combat (either sniping, hand-to-hand, knife-fighting, bayonet fighting, etc), the "fight or flight" syndrome kicks in. I'll wake up the next morning with so much adrenaline running through my system, it burns me out just as much as regular exercise. When I get up, it feels like I was hit by truck.

I had a dream last night that my local cheep ass store was selling off all their stuff.... I couldn't decide on chips of beef sticks, so I got candy instead, but I only has 5$, so I kept putting things back and taking things out, but I woke up before I bought anything

Oh yeah!

One time, I was sleeping, and I got a charlie horse! It's funny, because I got one in my dream too!

The best part is that I was screaming as loud as I could, so I was screaming really loudly in real life too, and it got my brother really pissed off.

or prehaps they're telling you that you fear being alone. I don't know much about my dreams because i seldome remember them, and what i do remember i have to take with a grain fo salt because sometimes i can't tell if it's something i was just conciously thinking of while staring at the celing waiting for the 6:05 buzzer to go off. it really sucks not being able to remember shit like that ...

I have interesting stressful dreams a lot. A lot of them have something to do with me having an oppurtunity or finding something to do, but I never get done doing it and change dreams or wake up. One of my fears is wasting hours of time before I realize it doing nothing. So I, say, plan on going to a great symposium but get sidetracked at the bus stop and don;t accomplish anything that day. That's one of my worst fears - and it's real.

I occasionally have peculiar nightmares such as...
being at a plenary lecture naked...
running for hours evading the police who are always around the corner... getting stabbed/imapled/etc...
riding the local rail line except handing on to the side of the train...
getting an F in thermodynamics...
I also recall troubling moments of the past.

SInce I take notes on anime, it's natural I get a few of anime-related ones. I don't actually see any images, but I get the same sensation and have vague thoughts referrring to familiar anime worlds.
