yeah i'd agree totally tacooe. don't get me wrong i still loved the old vampire hunter d movie, probably cuz i got a thing about vampires, but then i saw bloodlust and i was just in awe. great animation, and i just really liked the action, the characters, hell even the whole a love not meant to happen story was pretty enjoyable. hmmm...maybe i should go download those hellsing episodes, i really want to watch it. Sayonara.

the thing I liked most about Bloodlust was the animation and art, it was beautiful especially compared to the old one although it was great for it's time, but Bloodlust was just incredible in that way I was surprised.

oh, just to check back on this topic,

I bought Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust just this past month, and your right, its AWESOME O_O i love it ^_^

I may buy Blood or Hellsing soon too ^_^

and u, 0_o do you want these people to Chew you out or somethin, cuz they'll do it =\

ur insane, comin here and bad mouthing Blood like that O_O

Hellsing could have been so much better than it was. I mean, its like the beginning seemed to open up so many possibilities for cool story lines, and like the whole thing just kinda went no where. If you really think about it, not one thing with the exception of how Alucard met Integral was explained. I mean, they made it look like the main focus was gonna be Victoria having to deal with being a vampire, and then they just like...went no where with that pretty much. The whole thing just felt really imcomplete. Alucard had his cool moments of course, and im not saying it was a bad series, but it could have been so much better if it like...actually had a plot and character development.

I mostly advise that you don't watch the first VHD.

Go with VHD: Bloodlust, instead of the first.

Another one is yes, Hellsing. Very good Anime.
