Actualy it dosn't ... i just had to bother dwchang because i promised him i would ...

Lol i can picture dwchangs inital reaction to seeing this post ... it problaby looked something like this ...

I know this balrog fight is mentioned in "The Silmarilion", but i don't remember if Glorfindel won that fight ... no wait he did ... he's in the two towers isn't he?

That's probably how dwchang would look. It sure pissed me off when I first read it. And dwchang is more of a fan than me.

I liked the Escaflowne dub.
I think both versions are okay with me.
It was just the movie that went TOO FAR!
I odn't know if it was just the old english VA's being lazy, or the fact that I'd been watchign a subbed bootleg of the movie for many months, but the movie's dub just seemed like shit compared to the anime's.
It was like "I am going to kill you know, haha"
And "Oh my god. we are going to die. Help. Us." Instead of a more approiate "OMFG! We're gonna die! SOmebody help us!!" type of thing.

Yeah..

Yay, i just watched Escaflowne ( Vision of) (well, up to disk 6 anyways, waiting for 7 & 8? to come out......) And it was good, i prefer sub over dub, but i think the dub was well done............ i just dislike whiny cat girls............... it grates by ear drum.......

Meh, the Esca dub wasn't THAT bad relatively speaking. If you had said something like "THE BERSERK DUB OWNZ J00!", now THAT would've gotten me pissed.

They should already be out... Everywhere, I'm pretty sure...
Escaflowne is a relatively old anime.
