LXG!
Well, I just got back from seeing "LXG" (Or for those who are more inclined not to abbreviate titles, "The Leage of Extraordinary Gentlemen")
All I have tyo say really is that if you wanna go see a movie, GO SEE THIS!
Screw the Hulk, 28 Days Later, Legally Blonde 2, Sinbad, etc... GO SEE LXG!
(After you see LXG, then you can go see Pirates of the Carribean and Terminator 3.. Bwahaha! )
OK, so there were new characters, in particular, Tom Sawyer. I know some fans of the original comic book were pissed about the inclusion of him, and I am certain some fans of the comic book will be even more pissed when they find out that Sawyer's role in the film is pivitol, as he ends up playing second bill to Mr. Connery (Alan Quartermain). But honestly, I liked what they did. It was exciting, like reading a new version of the comic book. Very cool.
True, even though Quartermain isn't even supposed to be the main character, they pulled if off very well. We got to see all the League members' powers, got to see them fight, and no league member seemed any more important than any other, so really, it was a great job on not focusing on any singular member (Except for Quartermain of course, since he's the "main character" in this film)
So anyway.. Go see LXG!
That is all!

xlg was indeed a good movie .. went to the 11 o clock showing and just got in .... but one thing i have to state .. Pirattes of the carribean blew tottal donkey ass .... and Depp plays an awful gay pirate ... gah .. ahted that movie with a passion, failed in every way XLG shined.
...the problem I see a lot is that many good amv makers think they suck, and many bad amv makers think they're good.
