The dvds are r1 but i have an all region dvd player so it doesn't mater.

Well, I'm UK based too, but I was just helping our friends over the water out a little.
From my (limited) experience with it and on the recommendation of a friend of mine who has the largest anime collection I know by a factor of ten, http://www.up1.co.uk/up.nsf is very good for buying R1 discs here.
