also i'm gonna try my hardest to get the episodes in the way that u told me dwchang, but i already know it's gonna be hard for me not to buy the filler episodes...watching them sitting on the shelves...leering at me...mocking me...egging me on to buy them!!
in the end i will probably buy the entire series, but i'll keep the non-mange episodes in a seperate room

Heh, sorry for the lengthy reply, but I've answered that question QUITE a few times. At the same time, there's a lot of reasoning and it requires explanation since some doesn't make sense.Daio Kaji wrote:wow!
thnx u guys, i think i found out everything i need to know about watching kenshin now, i'm surprised that this little topic came to it's conclusion in such an efficiant way, i guess a simple question gets a simple answer
thnx to everyone that replied, u were all a big help
As for buying the rest...again, I think it's a waste of money and will make you like Kenshin less, but live and let live. Just don't ever say that "KenshiN" sucks b/c of those episodes

Oh no no no, don't take that the wrong way. I was just defending the reason for a lengthy postDaio Kaji wrote:okay, sorry but if i didn't read the post before (when i didn't plan on buying kenshin) i wouldn't have read it, so i opened this thread, so sorry for the inconviniance (sp) but thnx for the infodwchang wrote:Heh, sorry for the lengthy reply, but I've answered that question QUITE a few times. Uhhhh, I just finished watching that Shougo saga (eps 62-74 I think), and that was actually pretty good, despite it not being part of the actual manga and all, I liked it. I don't think people should stray from it either, its way better then the majority of non-Kyoto arc Kenshin.
BTW, I have a question, I've seen all the eps you mentioned chang, but where/when does Enishi come back, I know it happens, but when?

The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

Different strokes for different folks. I will admit that I COULD see ppl liking it, but at the same time, I don't consider it "kenshin" since it didn't really happen in the manga. At the same time, *I* found it lame....so (shrug).SSJVegita0609 wrote:Uhhhh, I just finished watching that Shougo saga (eps 62-74 I think), and that was actually pretty good, despite it not being part of the actual manga and all, I liked it. I found the episodes listed quite a bit better. 1 - 12, 23 - 24 introduce the characters, their motivations, etc. and then it's Kyoto...u need to have those episodes to make Kyoto more enjoyable. You need to well..."like" the heros and so on. So yeah, I think they are MUCH better than anything after Kyoto.
It happens immediately after 62. It's Kyoto and then the Revenge Arc. Basically he visits the grave right? Then he returns home? Enishi basically comes in...state he is going to make KEnshin miserable..e.veryone asks who he is..kenshin explains past (the ova) and then the last part of Revenge...so yeah...there is nothing else other than Revenge in between.SSJVegita0609 wrote:BTW, I have a question, I've seen all the eps you mentioned chang, but where/when does Enishi come back, I know it happens, but when?
