Hey, I'm new, obviously. And i want to make a video, obviously. I was thinking of using footage from either cowboy bebop, outlaw star, or trigun. Maybe a combination of them. And i was thinking of putting the video to the dueling banjos song. Which series would suit this project best? I'm thinking a duel between Spike and Vash. And has this been done before because i want to be original? And what are the best sources of footage for this project?

Spike vs. Vash is old news. The Tainted Donuts video did it far better than you could, I'm sure, since this is your first video. Dueling banjos I haven't seen before, but then I haven't really looked either.

In conclusion, let me just say congrats for not wanting to use Linkin Park or Chop Suey or some other unoriginal tripe for your first video.

Yeah, Tainted Donuts was awesome. It's one of the reasons i wanted to create an amv. I don't know all of the techniques used in, but I could try something similar. (edit individual scenes of footage with paintshop or photoshop) but i don't know if i'm willing to spend so much time on it.

lol, maybe i can take the bounty hunt for Vash to the next level and throw in Gene in the chase. Hopefully, it would turn out a lot different from tainted donuts. Hmm... I'm getting ideas already.

My new idea wouldn't involve Dueling Banjos, sadly.
It would include the daily life of Vash. In other words, eating donuts and getting chased by trouble. But the trouble would be famous characters from other animes. Probably Gene Starwind, Spike, and maybe as far as characters from Yu Yu Hakusho or Inu Yashsa. It might be difficult to find good scenes from the latter choices, but i'm willing to try anything. Any suggestions on characters, footage, and music would be great and highly appreciated.
