Yeah, I'm hoping to get mine in August... if all goes well, that is. Of course, I think that only fits four, so if I get it, I'm almost filled up! God, I hope that car is as good as it seems...

If we take the Pathfinder..we'll have room for about 4 people in the back unless someone wants to ride behind that in the cargo area

..if we take the Grand Am then about 3 more...and if it happens that we have to take the Freightliner..then however many can cram themselves into the sleeper and pray we don't get stopped by the DOT j/king

I don't forsee that we'll have to take it..but you never know..
and glad I'm not the only person that had/has an ant problem..

I got mine after the car sat in the yard for about 6 months with a blown engine..for the 2nd time..thank goodnees I'm rid of them finally...

Heh - when I had my ant problem, it was mostly because I wasn't taking good care of my car - they found the leftover taco bell... you have a much better excuse than me

Mike Barranti and I ended up cleaning out the car on the last day of AWA for about three hours. It was not fun. Especially with a hangover and that nagging fear of allergic reaction... good times, indeed.

I doubt I'll be driving down, but as my parents live in the Atlanta area, I might have access to one of their cars, possibly the full-size conversion van. Otherwise, I'll be needing a ride as well. 8)

I live about 10 minutes away from AWA, and if we take the Blazer we can fit in 6 people.
Although, unless we get all the teenager editors, you can really only fit in two people besides myself comfortably.

And then, of course, there's me trying to get my mom to pick up total strangers... But I could have my liscence byt hen, so who cares.

Oh, snap... delete that comment about the liscence.
Anyway, 6 or 2 people.. You decide. 0.o

Okay, update...

My mom and I WILL pick people up from the hotel if you need a ride. Only two other adults comfortably, unless you want to have a party in the trunk...

Four teenagers/really skinny people can also fit, and if you need way more space, we can always have a party in the trunk...

It's illegial to ride around without a seatbelt in Gergia, so these numbers are based on how many seatbelts there are (besides the trunk part).

Is there any possibility of getting a Waverly shuttle van to take some folks? Most upscale hotels have a small fleet of shuttle vans, maybe one could be begged/borrowed/comandeered?

I was planning to take a shuttle from the airport, so no car here.

Shuttles only run from airports to the hotels. So there's no chance of the shuttle being taken to the resturant.

Unless you take the public bus...

Well, no. Scratch my last post.
If there's enough people wanting to go to the same place, they'll do it. So get around 6-10 people to go to the restaraunt on that shuttle, and they'll probably take you.

Well I'm alittle late, but if people still need rides my car can hold 2 maybe 3 more (depends on if my friend can come up for the weekend or not). But you will be in the back. And it is a 944 so the seats (and use the term loosely) are kind of small. So if you’re relatively skinny you're good to go! I could barrow my parents van I guess, Lord knows they would love to get their hands on my car for the weekend. But which would you rather be seen in, soccer-mom-mobile, or Porsche of doom?
