... there is no OVA ;_;. Probably one of the biggest mis-conceptions in the DBZ world...

...dude, i'm not gonna say that there IS one, but what would u call the movie that is not designated a number, is horribly hard to find, actually not that really, but it's not a lost movie like some people call it, it's called "The Plan to destroy the Saiya-jins" i have, correction had it, i lost the low quality 3-part version of it when i got my computer upgraded, but it also has a high quality version that is not split up into 3 files.

so u definately can't make me believe it doesn't exist, i used to own it, but the film i believe Bebop0083 is talking about (the plan to destroy the saiya-jins) does indeed exist

yes thats the one im talking about. i used to have the first two parts on my computer but lost em in a computer crash. your right its called "Plan to destroy the Saiyanjins" which was originaly based on the video game of the same name. i know it exist!! but what the hell is it?? OVA or Lost Movie?? or Special???

i would say the best way to go is to make it a special, but the other two specials are all biography/documentary type movies, history of trunks and story of bardock, the plan to destroy the saiya-jins is not made that way
and i wouldn't call it a lost movie just because i don't like that term, to weird, and i doubt it's lost, stolen maybe, heh heh, that's be cool, The Bird Studio Scandal, toriyama trying to cover it up and it gets all over the news, lol
i wouldn't use the number basis, since the numbers like the movies go chronologically, the first movie (dead zone) happens before the other 12, the last one, movie 13 (exploding dragon fist) happens last, so to make the plan to destroy the saiya-jins number 14 would be going out of order, it wouldn't cause any kind of time warp but it'd be inconvieniant for me at least, most likely no one else cares about that

so i guess it's probably fine to just make it a feature length movie 14, sounds like the best way to go, even though it would be movie number 8 or 9 in the movie series, i don't know which one, but i think goku makes a reference of either brolly or hatchyak being stronger than even cell or sumtin, i forget which one, or maybe i just made that up, i don't remember anymore

btw, the dragonball 14th anniversary movie made by toei animation is not the 14th dbz movie, it's a movie in the dragonball timeline, so it would count as one of the DB movies, not one of the DBZ movies, sum ppl believe it to be dbz movie 14, just thought i'd clarify in case sumone believed this

it cant be number 14 even though thats the best way to go. cause it happens right after Dragon Ball Z movie 8. Yes Goku does mention that Hatchyak is stronger then Brolly. I would call it an OVA personally. even though its misconsumption.

I'M NOT PSYCHO!!!, thnx, i knew i heard sumtin like that sum where, yeah, that's why i don't want it to be labeled movie 14 because of the way the movies are already chronological, but since the official movies aren't really numbered, it's okay to make it the 9th movie, from what i see, it's only the masses that give them numbers in order to keep track of them all, none of the movies i'd bought say movie # whatever, so it'd be fine to just be released, now that the first brolly movie is being released this august, it'd be a good time to release the plan to destroy the saiya-jins next before they release the bojack movie (in the us anyways since they are all released in japan)

i doubt Funimation will do it unless they release the "OVA" and movie 9 around the same time. knowing Funi theyll probably skip it and just do 9. but the "OVA" falls right before 9. hopefully they have the rights to that movie.

I think it's an OVA. At least at pojo.com they clasify it as an OVA Special.
