Here's my reply to a PM from Quu:

I'll film and what ever I film won't leave the tape onto an eventual doc...
If a doc ever materializes...

For me, this trip is like going on vacation and I want to film what I've seen.. And the people I see! ^_^

Who ever says they don't want to be on the doc while I'm filming, won't be in the doc. So no need to worry! ^_^

I really don't want this to turn bad because I haven't met many people in the AMV community in person... -_-
A lot of them I respect, and if people like you don't want to be in the doc it's fine by me! ^_^
But I'll keep filming either until the con is over or I run out of tape.

I hope this explains why I'm doing this and that no one should fear me and my camera! ^_^ It is not meant to make fun of people but to see who these people are in the community. I don't want to be on anyones' bad list like Carlos(Machine) or DavidViolence have with their docs...

A get to know the people in the community kind of doc..
If I get the right footage and everything! ^_^

I just have a sick feeling that other creators won't like me or anything because of past docs by other people... No one has even given me a chance...

Oh well.. I guess I'll just save space by not packing a video camera and just enjoy the con..

I have just watched yet another "documentary" which I don't want to talk about

and the problem is that EVERY single one I have seen is insulting and this recent one has me conemplating saving money for bail when I meat the guy who made it

I guess... the problem is your walking into scourched ground, as others have already lit the forest on fire. I am personally camera shy, and become even more so when I see these documentaries that people make

they all seam to think they are super funny, and they might be... to them selves...

so yes... it may seam that your already getting hostile reactions from people, but consider what has come before you... if you make a fun and happy documentary then more power to you... but you have to acnoledge the baggage that is waiting for you if you do make a public doc

hell... fi you want to record the events... go right ahead... its what you do publically with the footage afterwars that will determain what people think of you
