I really don't like to evaluate someones AMV like that ( at 3:23 ) you had a guy picking his nose when you should of showed him eating it, crap like that. ( but thats just me ) I tell them what I liked and what I didn't like, If I get to picky I might as well made the video myself 8)
Anyway its nice that you are doing that for people just don't get too critical, some helps- to much is hurtfull.

well, i've been making AMVs for about 2 1/2 years, and i didn't even know the org existed until about 9 months ago. If any of the other creators out there are like me, they make the videos for themselves before they make it for the public. So its good to hear about technical faults and things of that matter, but when people just start voicing ther opinion on(this clip would be better if you showed this instead, type of stuff) clip selection and subjective points of an amv i created, i listen too them, but they never really effect how i create a video in the future. For when you create an AMV as an art form/expression of yrself, or how you interpret the anime you can't really take advice on the subjective parts from other people. But when it comes to how you represent that vision(the editing, effects, etc.) people can help.
I don't know if what i said totally fit into this thread or not, i didn't read all of it. But i have never read a guide on how to make an amv except for encoding. I learned how to edit by 6 months of sitting with Windows Movie Maker and making bad DBZ videos. Then when i made the switch to better programs i had the basic skills i needed to expand on. I don't consider myself to be an expert, i don't know what to consider myself actually, i just know i'm not a newb. And myself, i am always willing to help someone out if they need something double checked or an opinion on something i try to be there, but i also know that my opinion isn't always right along with how everybody else's opinion isn't always right.
And as long as you are happy with how a vid turned out, it doesn't really matter if the public hates it cuz you should always make them for yrself, not for the masses so they think you are "cool". But of course thats just my opinion.
And if they do make the panel of editors willing to give advice, i'd be more than willing to help even though i don't know if i qualify.
