Effects are soo cool, I wanna learn them! >_< Anyway, themes always impress me more than any precise synching or flashiness but I can easily be wowed by cool 80's rap (It's Tricky! :p ).

A good anime that is semi based upon love is Inuyasha. You can find a totn of AMVs of Inuyasha on Kazaa.

GOnna go out on a limb here and suggest, as I always do, Sailor Moon.

Season 1 has some of the best romance anywhere. There's relationships between Mamoru and Rei, Mamoru and Usagi (Also Serenity and Endymion), Naru and Nefrite (THE most tragic relationship in ANY anime if you ask me), Yuuichiro and Rei (Which is more funny than anything), Urawa and Ami (SO uber cute!), Usagi and Motoki (Heh heh heh...).

Season 2 had more good Usagi and Mamoru moments, as well as Safir and that one former evil lady whose name escapes me... oh well.

Season 3, of course, has the famous lesbian relationship between Haruka and Michiru.

Season 4 has Chibiusa falling in love with Helios.

And then season 5 pisses off all the hardcore season 1 fans by pairing Usagi with Seiya while Mamoru is away.

It's so evil because they use almost identical scenes with Usagi and Seiya as they did with Usagi and Mamoru in season 1, just to rub it in

Anyway... that's all. Someone already said Fruits Basket... Fushigi Yuugi... Ranma...

Hey! What about Lina and Gourry from Slayers? The ending of Slayers Next is just so great on that aspect

I'd like to reinforce this one by talking about it myself. Angel Sanctuary is awesome. After reading the manga, I appreciate the anime that much more, but even pre-manga, I loved it. You just have to keep an open mind while you're watching it and remember that it is just a fictional story.

It's a mecha thing that deserves way more credit.
It's got lots of emotional turmoil about love and stuffs. ^-^

Yeah, I'm not making any sense.

And yes, ANgel Sanctuary is awesome. I don't understand why people don't like it just because it has some implied incest. That's practically being racist to an anime...
