Didnt Spike and Jet smoke?

So it wouldnt be a first. And after some of the sexual situation scenes on Reign, I would think the panty shots in FLCL would be childs play.

But again, Jet and Spike are adults smoking. The girl in FLCL (Haven't seen it :ducks:) seems to smoke a lot. Kids smoke = bad to CN. I guarantee it'll be edited or they'll say she's 18 or something.

Umm...they showed two guys kissing on Toonami on an ep of Yuyu Hakusho. On that ep where the main guy had to be brought bad with a kiss by someone who cared for him, the red headed guy had a "bad" dream he had to do it. And has for the smoking thing, CN doesnt seem to care at all about that on Adult Swim. They havent censored it once.

hoping not to strey to far off the subject, but why pick on toonami and adult swim if they are whats getting anime known in the US? arent we fighting the wrong war here? i dont like the crap they put up eather, but at least i get to cover their ass with my anime club. they get people intrested, i show them what its really like, and thus the cycle is compleated. not to be a stick in the mud, but all the toonami bashing is just getting old.

That's Mamimi, and she's 17, so 18 wouldn't be too big of a stretch.

'Course, Naota is 12, so you've got a 17 year old hitting on a 12 year old... yeah, that'll make it. They'll p[robably make him 15 or something. Hell, he sounds older than 12 in the dub, so they'll probably tweak Naota's age a skosh.

I rather like Haruko's dub voice, myself, though. It's so funny hearing her go Valley-Girl. ^^

There was a post in a different thread, but i cant remember which one, that was talking about a quote which said CN was doing a dedication to the anime by getting it on the air, or something along those lines.

I completely disagree with this, And the only way i can see the actual creator of the anime saying this after seeing it butchered is if hes only in it to get his share of the money.

I used to watch kenshin on CN but it has gotten so rediciulous with the edits that i only watch inuyasha and of course Aqua teen hunger force

I decided to buy kenshin

Well y'see, I'm fairly sure all of us (well I do) do appreciate that they are getting people into anime, but at the same time, we have every right to point out what we feel they are doing wrong right? I mean to say they're doing everything perfectly would be a gross exaggeration.

At the same time, for the record, yes I do think they do more good than harm, but again...that doesn't mean we shouldn't critique what they are wrong and with Kenshin, I find quite a bit wrong.

In a different thread, they said Soul Taker was coming to CN, so maybe Soul Taker, since it's also only 6 eps (Or so I'm told), is going to be shown first, and not FLCL?
