I have this service set to "automatic" so it starts when my computer turns on. But every time I start my CD burning program (Vertias Record Now, which comes preinstalled with WinXP) it constantly turns off. And then I can't burn a CD...Why??
I've read BlkViper's info on how the service works but it should not do that if set to automatic, right?
Quirky thing is, if I open the services window and leave it open during the CD burning process, it stays on. However, as soon as I close that window, the service stops and I have to open it again and start the service before I burn a CD again.
It's a pain to do and I shouldn't have to so what gives?? Is there another service that needs to be active as well?

My computer is new and even had XP reinstalled after a harddrive failure. Now I have a new HD but the problem with this service still happends. So what gives?
