Looking for AMV group...

Hiya,

I'm sorta new here and I don't know if anyone even responds to 'searching for' requests but, eh, I dunno where else to look.

I'm trying to find an AMV group that submitted a couple videos to ACEN '03. The name of the group (as they put it on all their videos) is something like "www.thefinal*blank*.net"

As you can imagine, I can't remember what the *blank* was. I can tell at least a little bit more about them though. They submitted a video that was done to Metropolis at ACEN and it happened to be Disqualified, but it was still shown at ACEN at the pre-judging screening they did on the first night of the con. I think, actually, they submitted a couple videos that were disqualified (for something like, text or non-removed bumpers or something silly) as well.

If anyone has any clue what I'm talking about, please lemme know. Thanks!

Yeah, that Metropolis video was mine. It wasn't disqualified - I never submitted it or that Big O video to ACen. I submitted them to other cons way ahead of time, so Quu (the video guy) had them on his server, and someone requested a Big O video, then someone else requested an ELO video. (Or so Quu told me.)

The Metropolis video you saw is actually just the first part - I'm working on the second part now. The entire video (parts one and two, together with a longer introduction and some minor revisions to the first part) should be available by sometime between late June and mid July. (I'm not working within a specific deadline.)

Well, good luck then! Your work is pretty cool, I'll be waiting for the finished video (even though it's dang cool as it is right now).
