Profile Linking Problems

Some of you I have seen are able to create a link to your profile. Me? I only succeeded in creating a link to ANYONE's profile. I somehow made one that brought the person who clicked to their profile and not mine.
How did you guys do it? I'm not as up on this stuff as I should be

You know on your member main page? Well, next to your videos is your name.... That is also the link to you profile.

Oh wait, you dont have any vids (then..? oh, nvm).
