First off... What site? This one? Some other site?

Second... How big is your video file?

AnimeMusicVideos.Org recently gained the ability to host videos. So you can upload it to this site. Most free sites out there have a 500KB file size limit.

There should be a option on the Member Main Page to Upload Video.

You'll need to know how to use a FTP client to upload though.

Also what with your video being 2.24MB, I fear for the quality of it. A normal AMV is usually atleast 30 - 40MB. AnimeMusicVideos.Org allows for quite large files. So you should be able to compress to something that looks nicer than 2.24MB.

;_; It's not TOO big. It's TOO small. A file that small = bad video quality. :|

Windows Movie Maker

Post by Battousai_Himura » Sun Jun 15, 2003 4:46 am

Well I have to add a few questions to this, cause I must say I'm lost as well. but I do have some pointers for MOvie Maker.
Ummm first off how long is the video ? now when you save it are you saving the movie project or saving it as a movie. cause the size sounds like a movie Project size... If your Running the most updated version of movie maker the option to save it to movie form shoulf be in the file menu in the top left( or you can press Ctrl+P and it should open the save move file window... now on mine it says it asks where you want to save it( if you have the space on your comp save it to your Computer) then next you pick a name for the file and where to save it. Next There will be a few options for saving,( Best Quality,Best fit to Size, or other settings. If you pick Best Quality it should pick a size around 30 -40 MB. but if you pick a smaller size you lose Quality.
Umm that's about all I know about it. Hope I helped a bit ^_^x

So onto my questions.. Umm I also must ask about uploading videos cause when I clicked on Upload Videos it said I have to ask permission? ummm I don't really know where to go from there but this is my first anime music video and I feel really proud of it ^_^x I've always wanted to make these and I just recently learned how to rip Dvd footage. one problem I have wth that is I'm running a program called
DVD2AVI and it converts the VOB files from the DVD into AVI's (Duh!) but the AVI files have a bug in the bottom Right Corner... and since I make a lot of clips from them it appears through out the WHOLE video. any way to get rid of this ?
thanx very Much and I hope I get to join the Ranks with you and upload many videos for you all to enjoy.
