My tale of woe...........

Snif....... some months ago, i started to draw manga again......... at first it was crap, but steadily, under the guiding eye of my friends, my drawings got better.......character designs, mecha...... i could finaly do them........... then came the dreadfull day all artist fear. The day some sneaky bastard nick your work........my beautiful pad of work stolen!

I thought id share this tragic loss with you, the forum lackeys.......

Physically stolen or intellectually stolen?

If you dated and signed your work, you could possibly prove prior art and block their profits/fame, in the case of the latter.

Lucky me I've never had my stuff stolen. Mabye because I don't show anyone my work. Mabye becuase the tentacle monster guards it. Who knows. Anyway I feel sorry for you, but now you have an excuse to buy new things!

flint, thats not the point, the point is that hours of drawing, use of inks, heavy catrige have all lead to my drawings, i put a part of myself in my work (paper cuts are such a bitch), yes, they were physicaly stolen, i never signed nor dated my work, because i never considered anyone would nick it...and why do i have an excuse to buy new things???

My point is... so what? Draw more. Yeah, it's a loss. But look, I'm sure you've gotten progressively better. That's what will stick with you, not those pieces of paper. Don't let this piss you off, just go and draw more and draw better even if you can't neccessarily reproduce what you've already done.
