Queensryche's New 'TRIBE' Album
Click over to their newly designed website and have a listen to some samples :: http://www.queensryche.com/
This Is NOT the Classic 'ryche I fell in love with years ago, even with Chris de Garmo back. Just like Metallica and Def Leppard, it sounds as if these veterans have reached their limit.
To me it sounds like a cross between 'Promised Land' and 'Hear in the Now Frontier'; heavy in some parts, somber in others, but it just doesn't have the power or the melody as 'Rage to Order' and 'Operation:Mindcrime'.
Still, worth listening to the samples to gauge for yourself...serious die hards might go for it, but I've moved on to other bands like KAMELOT!!!

You're right, Queensryche aren't what they used to be. I'll probably be seeing them touring with Fates Warning and Dream Theater next month... I hope they stick to the old stuff.
I don't like their new stuff enough to actually stand through a whole show.

Def Leppard reached their limit as soon as they picked up a mic and a guitar.rubyeye wrote:This Is NOT the Classic 'ryche I fell in love with years ago, even with Chris de Garmo back. Just like Metallica and Def Leppard, it sounds as if these veterans have reached their limit.

Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.

Wha? I think you accidentally said Symphony X was "good decent." I love 'em, but I know you hate 'em.nailz1000 wrote:I feel a need to post in threads involving bands of good decent. Much as I would post in any iced earth or Symphony X thread that would happen to creep up. =P
