Don't give crappy a** ratings if a video doesn't deserve it.

I'm really getting pissed off now. I mean people are giving crappy a** ratings when the video doesn't deserve it. I mean obvious crappy ratings. Because our video was number one this person who obviously has no idea about making videos. Goes ahead and bombs our video like it was nothing at all and yet Shrine of the Goddess 2 is going to used over in a UK university for an anime club to look out and get new people to join. I mean come on obviously this is not the way it was suppost to be.

Yes our video was beating Euphoria for sometime and I agree it may not be deserving to beat Euphoria but it is in the peoples opinion who rated the video if I got the same people to rate my video then yes it propbably wouldn't be a 9.6. But don't give a video 1's 2's 3's 5's when it deserves 7's 8's 9's or maybe even 10's if you feel that some categories are that good. The rating system here is screwed up anyway...it's a 1-10 scale but people treat it like a 5-10 scale. If 5 was average, people should take it as a compliment to get a 6.

If lots of people think it's a great video, then it's a great video. Don't worry so much about ratings.

Yes but it is depressing to see your video go from #1 to #203 in one blow.

But your right 6/7 people do think it is a good video so far. Let see what the rest of you have to say. I'll gladly exchange opinions as long as you rate this video here.

Just saw it, and I'm kinda disappointed. If I do opinionate this thing, don't expect straight 10s, 9s, and 8s.

Then again, there's lots of "oddly placed" vids in the top 10% but who cares...

I don't expect straight 8's 9's and 10's. But if a video doesn't deserve 1's 2's and 3's then don't give them it. I mean it is uncalled for saying this video is better and yours isn't then give a rating like that.

Then why are you complaining about a rating if it's uncalled for to you say which is better? A rating is there because you *are* saying a video is better than the other.

Not to say that this wasn't an attack, but people some times honestly feel that way about a video.

I've also seen the video and I don't see myself giving it 1's and 2's, but at the same time, I don't see myself giving anything about an 8 either (and that's maybe for one category). I believe I have already reviewed two of your videos and given sufficient reasons for this as well as discussed the "other" things surrounding your ratings...

Either way, it's not the best to complain about one's reviews...this stuff happens all the time. You make it seem like people on the .org are the most mature and reasonable.

Okay let me phrase this better. When I rate a video I take a look if it is an original idea. Like has this song been used before or not. If it hasn't then what series was used and how many times. Then Capture I take a look if it was a crystal clear picture or if it wasn't or in between. Then Sound did it sound like it is CD quality or of a really bad recorded tape. Action did the scenes match the rhythm of the music when there was no words and fit the mood and did the scenes fit the lyrics of the song. Lipsync well that's kind of obvious did the person match the mouth with the voice correctly. Then effects it is your own opinion about it.

Well y'see almost all "normal" reviewers review that way, you're almost preaching to the choir here. People who are honest, DO review that way. You almost make it seem like "if you don't like a video, dont' rate it b/c it'll hurt it's averages." Averages arent' that big of a deal...hell if you're at #25X or something...out of what...12,000 videos...isn't that pretty good?

Given..I'll be honest, I don't think I agree with your averages like 9.5. Also, in all honesty, have you seen what other videos are around that rating? Perhaps you should download them and you'll see why you've gotten some of the ratings you've gotten. Given, I do not intend to give you all 1's, but I will grade it FAIRLY and I won't lie, I won't be giving numbers like you're used to getting from the other 6 people. I hope that isn't a problem since I am being honest.

No as long as you people are honest and not doing it intentionally then I'm fine with it. See like really dislike money shot even though he probably did do a good job with the video I willn't rate it because I dislike it. I'm not a person that is out to hurt peoples averages but at the same time I want to help. Am I making any scenes in this forum.
