How Do I use Star Rating

Just one quick question, I can't figure out how to give someone a star rating. I've received quite a few, so I want to be able to return the favor, help me out please

All the videos you've downloaded locally can be star-rated. Basically after downloading a local video, go to "My Downloads" which can be found on the "left." Easy and quick rating...just give between 1 - 5...where 1 is bad and 5 is good.

Make sense?

Oh I hear you on that...although I highly doubt this.

I've mentioned to Phade the need for this system to be NOT anonymous or some sort of karma system because I've noticed countless videos getting bad ratings and falling and falling. Oh and it's ONLY when the video is rated highly that it gets 1's and whatnot.

After it falls, it either stays there or rises again and then falls again with some 'tard giving it a '1.' Not to be mean, but these videos are NOT 1's by any stretch of the imagination. If '3' is an average, these videos are easily a 3 or higher.

I guess I won't spell out what I'm trying to say since I don't wanna piss anyone off, but I hope you guys understand what I'm inferring.

Daniel: I totally agree with what you're saying, but I've also noticed something that follows that course of events:

The good videos always end up rounding themselves out and coming back up where they belong.

It's pretty frightening, because like yourself, I've noticed FANTASTIC videos very close to the top, only to see them drop VERY quickly and to VERY low places. However, after about a week or so later, I'll notice them return, and they usually return to a spot that's more suited to them than their original very high placement.

I do agree that it's a problem when people are going and using the bandwidth of the Carrot to "score" videos rather than "enjoy" them, but hey... it all seems to iron itself out, in the end...

Good videos will always be good videos, and people will see through with that.
