Any suggestion for some AWESOME hitting Trance beats that are NOT 10 MINS long? Lots of the ones I've heard from my Borders CD/Bookstore are around 6mins+! [I can't sit through that nor edit that long...]

Anybody know any cool Trance songs that do NOT break the 4:30 barrier? 4:00 if possible...
if it's longer than 2:30, that's cool too. Though I don't see what I could really do with a vid that short...

I went out today just to find the new CD by 4 Strings. It's called "Believe" and was released about five weeks ago. Nice vocals by Vanessa van Hemert. Some instrumental trance on it as well.

There are 18 tracks plus a music video on the one CD, so that gives you an idea of the average song length (3-4 minutes). Includes a few pieces that I might consider using for an AMV. Tower's site has sample clips. Based on videos of yours that I've seen, you might go for "Revelation", "High On Life", maybe "Summer Sun".

Another new mix CD called "Ultra.Trance:2" also has several shorter songs. It's a 2-disc set; the 2nd is a DVD with some music videos. More info on that at Ultra Records.

DJ Tiesto's new 2-disc set, "Nyana", has some shorter songs...I think...I'd have to go browse that one again.

Forgot to mention - you can always cut out parts of a long song to shorten the length. I did that with both my "Sakura" and "Mirage" videos. Takes a little work and care, and in some cases it can't be done. It's best to trim the ends. Cutting a section out of the middle can be tricky, but I managed to do that on my latest project. Made a short song even shorter.
