so how long does it take you to rip,script, and.......

so how long does it take you to rip,script, etc before you actually start to edit. I ripped 35eps , script all of them to make them picjpeg ( then i will delete the VOB, and rip it again ) to get the dvd quality... but for now all of this took me around 17-25 hours. Is this normal?

To rip three DVDs, write scripts, make the D2Vs it takes around 1 1/2 hours. For the MJPEGs, depending on the script, it usually takes around 4 hours per DVD.

Why delete the .Vobs and rip them again? There is no point to that. If you're doing the MJPEG/AVS swap you need both and you might as well keep them both on at the same time.

Yeh, he tells me that all the time too. But I answer with "Fine, just give me 280 bucks to go get a Seagate Barracuda and I'll stop complaining".

As yet, I havn't seen any cash.
