Bush is bad, no doubt, but c'mon, be fucking realistic. He's still nowhere near the level of bad that the people you mentioned are.

When he starts rounding up millions of people into concentration camps for systematic extermination, and whacks members of his staff for being "disloyal" or potential political enemies - then he's hit the big leagues.

Until then, he's just plain ol' bad.
That is a very good point

Funny, I thought that he was part of the US government, head of it actually, and the us government is TURNING GUANTANAMO BAY INTO A FUCKING DEATH CAMP!.

Even Hitler started small. I don't think he woke up one day and said "Oh, I think I'll slaughter 6 million Jews today", he started by getting into power, then rounding them all up slowly, but surely.

Like Keatons poster said "Same topic, different asshole"

It's an internment camp with a possible (closed, admittedly) court that can render death sentences, if it feels the need to. This is still not the same as a "death camp", which just sounds like media hype term.

A genuine death camp, in my opinion, would not be set up thousands of miles away from the people you want to kill, it would have FAR more people in it who aren't selectively chosen to be there (i.e. whole villages instead of unique suspects), and the killing would be happening all day long. Additionally, there wouldn't be ANY form of due process.

If we were interested in going on a total genocidal rampage and killing hundreds of thousands of people, we wouldn't build camps in Cuba and fly them there.

Does any of this make the camp any less controversial? No. However, like I mentioned earlier, you don't just fly people who you want to get a lot of information from across the ocean for no reason, especially when you can do it locally.

Until the Prez orders the military to round up Middle Easterners of all types here in the States, and begins conducting mandatory national loyalty tests, I'm willing to stand by my claim that's he just bad.

And your poster is incorrect.

So make sure you vote so he doesn't get to stay another 4 years and carryout more crap. 'Course he's screwing things up before then, but unlike a dictator, he has to leave. That's not to say that whoever came next would be any better (I can think of tons of really crappy things each pres. since Carter has done) but it could be worse.

And vote this year, 'cause the balance is currently in favor of Republicans (electoral college and all) and to get Bush out, we'll need a stronger democrat party.

Personally I'd rather just elect kthulhu and his militia...but change is slow and first things first.

I don't know how Bush became prez. anyway, isn't it a law in your country that you can't become president if you have a criminal record, and Bush was convicted of a drug crime or something like that

And......? The Nazis also called their guns "guns", their cars "cars", and their sausage "sausage". It was all in German, of course, but the meaning was the same. Does that make those things evil, too?

First I need a militia. And some guns. And then I gotta practice and get in better shape...

Ahh fuck it, I'll just watch "American Idol" instead.

But yeah, do elect me if I ever run.

Yes, yes, I know, but you're implying that the Nazis tainted the term "internment camp" and changed it to mean something far worse - when they didn't.
