The curses of hosting...or, I am not your videos' keeper?

Post by Stryker » Wed May 28, 2003 1:07 pm

Here's the problem, a while back I offered hosting for a couple of videos that a friend made. Now, I have heard nothing from him for almost 6 - 8 months and my server's address has been changed, The videos are listed here at the org and on several other sites. He pretty much retired from the amv scene and moved on. So basicly what I want some insight on is if I should try hunting him down and asking him to make sure his links are up to date, or should I let the videos vanish from the world?

Perhaps a proxy upload to the carrot and a note to Phade to update/remove the duplicate entries in the database?
