Amen, a huge difference.
I've always thought that being dependent on someone else to make you happy is unfair to both people. To be dependent on someone else is to put an unrealistic expectation on them, and they will undoubtedly fail you at some point because, omg, they're human, just like you.

You have to be happy with yourself before you can look to someone else for happiness. If you're not happy with yourself first, no one else is going to be able to make you happy, and if they do, it's not gonna last.
