shittiest anime

people, i just want you to know that i seriously regret starting this thread now!

i dont know what i was thinking at the time, but obviously i should have given it some more thought before i posted

i for one am a person that -against my best efforts to prevent it- is easily effected by other people's opinions..
if for instance i see an anime which i love, and then a while later a friend tells me that in his\her humble opinion its the suckiest piece of suck to have ever sucked, well.. that just gets to me.. my enjoyment of the anime is bound to decrease, as i will inevitably try to analyze it from my friends point of view..
and just the fact itself that someone cant appreciate something the same way i do.. just, how shall i say.. well, it bugs me..

im also a very open minded person, that is capable of appreciating even some of the worst anime\non-anime\music\art creations (by 'worst' i mean that they dont meet my demands), because i can try to appreciate it from the point of view of the people who actually like it.. hell, i even enjoyed red-hawk to some extent

so this thread for itself is sort of 'out of character' for me, and like i said i very much regret posting it

i just hope it dies soon and vanishes into oblivion, so i could forget\deny that it ever existed

Sorry man, but like you said, you started the thread and should've realized what was going to be said (i.e. animes you like being bashed). Regardless, sorry about that.

I've only seen a few animes. I've yet to see one that I would call utter crap. But I have to admit watching a whole episode of DBZ in which nothing has really happened is a little annoying. I only saw a few episodes and then dropped it. Nothing new seems to happen.

Then again I've only seen the Americanized version on Cartoon Network which doesn't do the original justice from what I hear.

And I like FY and FLCL.

Only I'm more of a Yui hater then a Miaka hater. Miaka may get everything she wants but it comes with a boatload of guilt. Yui just sulks all day and blames everyone else for her troubles when her own stubborness and self-pity is the real root of her unhappiness. Or at least that's just how I see it. Feel free to disagree.

maybe its just me and my age that i really like dbz, or soemthing i donno. but i dont get how ppl could really hate it, i mean yea in gt its kinda 'eh' meaning the fact that they replay the same ep except different ppl involved. i never really liked gt to begin with, the only reason i actually like it is because i love the way it was drawn the art. i mean look wayyy back when, when it first appeared the art was really not that good but considering when it was made it was exceptional. but considerign tis still beign air for sooo many years now i like the way gt has been drawn its more of a modern thing. eh go figure im just an art wacko who cant help but love when an anime has a great style and story line(which doesnt happen often and if it does the anime is cut to 3 eps!!!

next back on utena, i seriously think that ppl shouldnt be complaining about the animes sexuality. i mean comon A)ur gonan be bound to see it in real life B)its japanese there art about half of japanese animes that have soem homosexual content. C)utena and anthy arent really lovers its more of a utena looks at anthy as a close friend, but when she looks at anthy and thye get like that she looks at her thinking of her 'prince'. therefore in lame-x terms they aint les, but when they look at each other they visualize someone else. over all i like it and no doubt most because of the art. o yea and might i add anyone who dislikes utena and has seen the movie, well even the ppl who rate it has said 'in every movie the direactor puts a little bit of himself in it, and in revolutionary girl utena ya gotta ask urself this....what was the direactor smoking???' so see ur not entirely alone tho i still say the series good for ppl who are open minded about all that.

and next FLCL looks kinda scarey one of those psyco animes. i mean i havent actually seen the story line and or the anime, but from what i have seen in amv's that include it, IT LOOKS SCAREY PSYCO SCAREY!! okies well im out and next whoever started this topic dont say that i mean really its kinda interesting to see ppls thoughts about what is 'the wosrt' of this time period. okies byes

The shittiest anime I've seen... Arjuna. Thank goodness I saw it fan-subbed before buying any of the DVDs. Try to force your beleifs on me and make feel bad about myself? Yeah... right.

I completley forget about that horrid anime the concept is evil you take a cute little girl and turn her into a freak until she goes "Kill me" I HATE THAT SHITTY ANIME TOO.

DB/Z/GT, are u sure u like anime???i mean ok fien its all about guys but still there are female characters who actually have a purpose, its one of the best. i mean it has great action fighting plus its funny. i mean i can understand how yea they kinda get revived wayyy to much and maybe the fact that in GT its basically the same shit over and over but before that it was all good. the only reason i like GT is because of the drawing style and the cg!!
