New and I already have opinions lol

So, whats up everyone? I'm new to the site, though not at all new to the AMV scene ( I made 2 that have seen limited circulation on Kazaa a few years back). Course, I used a then unknown anime (FLCL) and a band that everyone says they like but no one really listens to (Radiohead) so they never reached any prominence and were quickly forgotten, by myself as well as everyone else. Well, it's summer and I have way too much free time so I decided to make a few more, starting with a new project that should have been rediculously easy but that I made pointlessly hard. Anyway, I was looking at the most often used songs and I noticed that a lot of the bands people use are crap. Linkin Park?? Come on, thats not even real metal. It's the mirracle whip of metal. It looks somewhat like the real thing bu in the end its stupidly pointless and tastes like crap. And don't even get me started on Blink182. 30 year old men have no buisnesssinging about falling in love with girls at rock shows and how they can't get a date in voices more suited to 13 yo japanese schoolgirls. Lets see some less pop-y, less mainstream songs get the attention they deserve, they're the ones that make the good videos, anyway. Also stop making DBZ videos. God knows we have more than enough. Seems every kid with a computer wants to make one, and it's diluting the whole scene. Lol, well, thems my opinions anyway.

A) This should go in the "It's all about me!" forum.

B) Video announcements go in the Video Announcements forum.

C) FLCL was never a 'unknown' anime. Many otaku knew about it.

D) Using paragraphs is nice. It makes it so that people can read what you write with out their head exploding.

E) Everyone here has wetdreams for Linkin Park and Dragon Ball Z, just no one will admit to it and their shamed slightly by it. This discussion should be in general anime/music.

F) If you need a idea check out AMV Suggestions. :/

Actually, this one sounds just as stupid as the rest of them. There's those who act stupid by creating something entirely bland and unoriginal, and then there's those who act stupid by trying to make themselves superior.

Hey, even if you've been making AMVs for a long time you can still make something bland and unoriginal. All my stuff is -_-. Damnit!

Superior my ass, I just like to think I have taste. I've seen some kickass DBZ videos, though I have yet to hear a good linkin park song.

And yeah, FLCL was very underground at one point. Oh sure there were some hardcore otakus (god I hate that term, it's so eliteist =) ) but for the most part, it was unknown by the general anime viewing population.

As for being stupid, who isn't? Certainly no-one here =) Certainly not me. I am as stupid as the rest, just in a more blatantly obvious way. Also I rule the world.
