I have a PS2 game that has this kick-ass song I want to use in an AMV. I've tried downloading it, but there are so few people sharing it and the majority of those files cut off before the song finishes completely.
Is there a way I can rip the song from the game?
(Also a thought: Is it possible to rip music from everything? This would eliminate the need to buy a whole seperate soundtrack. I'm not planning on doing this. I was just thinking about it.)

Hey What version of a media player do you have? If you have a player that can read Mac files or windows and convert them you can do it I think. I would try the new windows media player first though. You can copy right to the harddrive and play it back.Lone Wolf wrote:I have a PS2 game that has this kick-ass song I want to use in an AMV. Well, you know it would sort of help to say what game and what song.
But generally, PS2 games have encryption and protection all over the place so don't count on trying to rip it...believe me. That's what buying the OST is for, even if it is one song.

Hey if you have the PS2 NET yaroze(you know, the one they use to code for games with) You could do it then. And gameshark makes a periphreal you could try to use. It's called playstation dj.Lone Wolf wrote:Damn...
I was going to keep it a surprise so nobody would use it (because it has never been used yet), but I'll tell you anyway.
The song is "Everyday" by Strung Out.
It's on the game ESPN Winter X Games Snowboarding. If you have never heard this, you are missing out on a kickass song!
