amazing how ones opinion changes overnight, i was standing in my local shop, and this guy just wouldnt shut up, i forget what he was trying to say, i was to busy trying to tune him out....but yeah there is a problem with obsesion, hobby fine..obsession wrong.......

i just watch anime as a hobby, i can quit anytime i like.........honest

This post was obviouslly made to start a flame war.

As to anyone's comments... I don't care what anyone does, it's their dang hobby, let them express it how they want to. If they are having fun, more power to them.

The comments were very generalized and shows that the person is very closed minded.

I don't care if its your hobby or not, there are people out there (you're probably one of them) that are extremely pathetic, their hobby goes too far and it degrades them, then when people think of Anime, they quickly get the image of ->

Hey dammit ok alot of people have responded but dammit. Ok remember that the word Otaku is an INSULT in Japan and I don't have a problem with that because I match that description.

Anyway I don't worship Japan either for every good anime there are 10 bad ones I've never seen. I don't care to learn the language it's to fast and the first place I would go on an overseas trip is to view the battlefields in europe. Lot's of different people like anime and You don't have to be an Otaku like me to be one.
