No man... You,re confusing agressive with being a dick. I mean i would be more assertive toward the lady is all. Weomen,no matter if real or not have to respect a assertive man.
No man... I was being sarcastic. "Weomen," or "Womyn," or what ever your feminist catch phrase of the day might be, don't have to respect anything unless respect is shown to them. What you should be working toward is expecting, showing, giving, receiving, and embracing the individuality of every person and treating them with respect, regardless of your intentions toward them, be it friendship or sexual in nature. Be true to yourself, be true to them. Putting on a show isn't going to work for very long.

OOOpss. There i go again not totally thinking something through again! I guess i left a gaping hole in what i was tryin ta say.and i see you do ave a point about being yourself. trying to Be something other than myself is a bad idea,because being something you are not will hurt either yourself or the other persons feelings and i guess ya don't want that.

At the moment i've no one to support, so what money I get I barely use just stash it away in a bank account. I do have quite a large amount stashed away.

btw, I choice Aoi-san because you said anime character, there is a real girl I like. A old friend i've known for a very long time. But her friendship is precois to me and I will never jeapodise that.

However, atleast i will have her close as a friend. I would prefer that than have her gone because of something stupid like my feelings

I was in the same situation once. Trust me if you don't give it a try you will kick yourself every day(especially if she is going to marry a jerk ,who i want to string up and violently kill)So do you just remain friends? Friends drift apart,no matter how good. A lover/friend will stay longer if you both love each other.

I think it depends on what kind of relationship they have. I have had some female friends and some I could have pursued a friendship into a relationship but some of the friendships would ahve been ruined by us sleeping together.

In the end only he is in a position to decide what kind of friendship they have and whether it is worth the risk of losing something they have together as friends. I have one female friend I have been good friends with since High School and we have dated, slept together and we are still good friends. And there are others that I wouldnt sleep with because I felt that it would ruin the friendship we have.
