Ya'll make too big a deal about spoilers.

Anyway, I don't think knives changed, if anything I think he would have tried again. It's not like he came to some realization at the end, he got shot, and passed out. So unless Vash does something to him, knives isn't going to change.

Knives probably didnt change his mind set about humans. But he probably
went to be a hermet or something, just because Vash is always there.
