rurouni kenshin
As you probably know I am a huge kenshin fan, but unfortunately i don't have access to all the series. So, can anyone tell me something about him?
Well I was watching the amv and I have seen the same footage.
first of all, somewhere near the end of the series, is that woman with long black hair (untied) kaoru? if it is, does kenshin die after she sees that his scar has disappeared?
it's been bothering me for a long while and makes me wish i had all the series -.-
cheers.

Spoilers alert would have been nice.
The scene you're referring to sounds like it's from the end of the 'alternative' ending provided in the second OVA, Seisouhen ('Year of Frost', retitled 'Reflection' for the US release). As dwchang will inevitably point out, this is divergent from the original manga ending, which was much more open-ended and positive. If this is the scene you mean then yes, Kenshin does die at that point of the same wasting sickness that Kaoru by that time also suffers from.

well the point is i can't get crap from the austalian markets unless i travel into some huge city and wander about. there is a high chance of me getting lost in there than finding the damn shop.
aia don't even know if they have the kenshin stuff either. I've only see the first two videos of samurai x where tomoe dies but that was like the last i saw of samurai x so i'm like surviving I suppose. and why did they wave to change his face so damn much? in the series he has this wierd face with thick eyelashes while on samurai x his face is like alot better looking and more like a killer?
I do call myself a rurouni kenshin fan, but I am still limited to what I can get my twitchy hands on. Now if I was in america it would be different, if i was in japan it would be heaven ^_^ anyway... I better stop rambling because I'm sure you people have better things to do. me it is to see if i can get more episodes of rurouni kenshin and find that blasted 2nd volume of the EVA series.

He looks less like a killer in the TV series because he doesn't kill people. The TV series has comedy bits in as well as serious fight stuff. The final OVA is in the same art style as the first one. The manga I've always thought is somewhere between.chaoticstormbringer wrote:aia don't even know if they have the kenshin stuff either.
